Terms & Conditions

“We”, “Our” or “Us” means Alex’s curtains & blinds. “You” or “Your” means the person who accepts these terms & conditions by using www.alexblinds.com.au and purchasing products or services from Alex’s curtains & blinds.

These terms & conditions together with your order constitute a legally binding agreement between Us and You for the supply of products.

Placing an Order
The instructions on the website provide all the necessary information required to place an order. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed. Please provide the correct contact details.
Your order may be cancelled by Us at any time before the dispatch. If this is the case, funds paid by You for that order will be refunded, and you will receive a confirmation e-mail.
It is Your responsibility if orders are declined or delayed due to internet connection problems.
By accepting this agreement, You acknowledge that you are over the age of 18 years, otherwise you can not place an order with Alex’s curtains & blinds.

We can change all prices shown on www.alexblinds.com.au at any time without notice.
All prices are in Australian dollars.
All prices exclude delivery costs.
All prices include GST.

Alex’s curtains & blinds accepts payment via Direct Debit Bank Transfer, PayPal (includes Credit Card) and After Pay.
After payment confirmation, We will email You a tax invoice, as a proof of purchase.

We deliver our products Australia wide.
We deliver orders within 5 business days for Ready-Made Products and 15 business days for Custom-Made Curtains. This period commences from the date of payment of the delivery cost invoice.
We do not accept any responsibility for delays, damage or loss suffered by customer as a result of any factors outside of Our control.
We do not accept any liability for inaccuracy of information provided to customers by the courier company. Customers should liaise with the courier after the dispatch.
Please note: All consignments will default to Authority To Leave in a safe place on your premises.
If you do not want your items left please advise couriers upon shipment notification.
We will not be responsible for loss of goods.

Refunds and returns
If You are unsatisfied with the purchase, You can notify us of a problem within 7 days of receipt of the goods and organise to return the product and receive a refund of the purchase price excluding the associated delivery cost. Goods must be returned in an undamaged condition, in the original packaging and in re-saleable condition. Customers must return the products for which they are seeking a refund at their own cost. These refund conditions are not applicable to Custom-Made products.
Faults will be dealt with in accordance with our warranty, after the 7 day period.
Custom-Made products are manufactured to fit your window with your unique measurements. That is why, we only accept returns of Custom-Made products which were incorrectly made by Us, or have defects.
We will issue a refund, after receiving the returned products. You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
We are not responsible for a loss or damage of products in returned transit.

All Our products are covered by a warranty from 1 to 3 years. The date of delivery of the product is the first warranty day.
You should be keeping a tax invoice until the end of warranty period.
We will replace the product, or if We are is unable to provide a replacement product, we will provide a credit for Our products, or refund the cost of product. The delivery cost is not included in the amount of the credit or refund. The warranty period is not extended or restarted by replacement of the product under our warranty.
We are not responsible for a loss or damage of products in returned transit.
Our warranty will not apply in the following circumstances:
malfunction, failure or damage as a result of accident, alterations, misuse, abuse, liquid spillage, fire exposure to abnormally corrosive conditions or entry by vermin or insect.

We respect the privacy of Our customers.
We collect information to process your order and for warranty purposes.
The information includes: your name, address, phone number, email address.
If you find any inaccuracies in your contact details, Please correct this information in the My Account link, or send us an e-mail and we will correct it.
We endeavour to use all necessary measures to hold your information securely.

We are not responsible for any losses, or damage of any kind. Our liability for any our product does not exceed the amount, which has been paid by you to us for the product at issue.
